Norse Horse #1: SLEIPNIR. Odin’s eight-legged steed that could run as fast as the wind and when flecks of the red foam that fell from his mouth hit the ground they became fly agaric mushrooms (the kind Smurfs live in).

I’ll be having a piece in the upcoming Horror Hangover show, so if you live in Vancouver and need to see some cool art this weekend, we’d love to have you swing by and have a drink. All art is under 100$, what a deal!
Curated by Inkstuds Robin Mconnell.

A few babearian portraits that will be available at Canzine West Today (Nov. 17) in Vancouver. They’ll be 20$, a mere pittance for original, one-of-a-kind watercolour paintings. Hope to see you there!
If these bad ladies don’t sell at the con, I’ll put them up for grabs on the internet. I also have Battle Kitten T-shirts that will be for sale too.

I is for Irma Prunesquallor from Titus Groan, the first novel of the Gormenghast series, by Meryvn Peake.
This is one of my favorite books. It’s lush and vivid, filled with characters you love or love to hate.

Not much time to do my Alphabook drawing this week, but here it is under the wire.
H is for Horselover Fat from Valis by Philip K. Dick.
I know this skirts the edge of a fictional character being that it’s the alter ego of Philip K. Dick himself, Philip meaning “lover of horses” and Dick is German for fat, but I definitely wanted to do a PKD character and this was the first one that popped to mind.
