  I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Some one asked this question.

But what about Battle Pug? This seems like such a rip-off! Maybe it’s an homage?

   I first started posting Battle Kitten sketches and drawings during the summer of 2009 on my Live Journal (remember that?) and on my Flickr. The first appearance of Battle Pug was as a T-shirt design in 2011. Now, do I think Battle Pug is a rip-off of Battle Kittens? Eh, I have no idea and it’s never concerned me. It could have very well been a case of parallel evolution. I feel there is room for both as my work and Mike Norton’s is very different and we are gearing for very different audiences.
