Found this old vacation drawing with description:
This is a sketch I did while staying on one of the Alphane moons near Betelgeuse. This rock-like growth is a type of fungus that’s 3.5 billions years old. That’s billion with a “B”! This moon has almost zero seismic activity, which allows organisms to grow so old. It kind of smelled like dirty socks sprinkled with sugar.
